in terms of you
Today, when I accidentally found my favorite pair of shoes which seemed to be broken and out of sight for years, I said to myself:
“I have in the present what I had in the past.”
Then when I remembered the movie Lakehouse which I watched earlier, I said to myself:
“He had in the present what he will have in the future.”
And now as I write here with Love is Waiting by Brooke Fraser in the background, I wanna ask you:
“You are certainly the only past that I have, and I prayed that you will be my future. But will you be willing to be with me in the present?”
