The Non-negotiables of Mr. Right
Okay, we’re looking for Mr. Right, not Mr. Perfect. Look over your list, and decide what you can compromise on, like maybe his height, or weight, or musical taste. Then, there are the qualities you should always check for and never give up looking for in a man:
respect for women. No sexist comments. No abusive treatment. No acting like he "owns" you.
unafraid to meet the ‘rents.Girl, if he refuses to meet your parents, then he doesn’t have any good plans for you. Boys with bad intentions can’t look at your parents in the eye, Here’s a bonus tip (which may suck, but it’s true!): parents have this uncanny ability to sniff out a guy’s true intentions. If your folks think he’s not right for you, he probably isn’t.
love for family.Okay, you may think it’s a bit too early to be thinking about this, but a boy who gets on well with his family, especially with his mom and sisters will make a great hubby and dad one day.
a healthy sense of humor.Life can be tough. So find someone who can make you laugh!
drive to succeed.Even with all that women’s lib has acheived for the sexes, men still need to feel that they can take care of you. So a healthy dose of ambition and drive is a good thing for men to have. Losers aren’t much fun to be with, right?
spirituality. There’s something about a man who believes in a Higher Power. He exhibits a lot of great qualities such as humility, love, patience, kindness, hope, and joy. Don’t just look for a guy who goes to church; look for a man who has COMPLETE faith in God, because he’s got most of the things on your list covered!
