i dreamt i was dreaming
I can see you from far
Your shadow overwhelmed me
“at last..” is all I can whisper to myself
then sighed a shout softly.
Finally, you’re now in front of me
I looked away and started stomping my foot
You thought im mad, until I laughed
“hey, did you miss me?” is what I set free.
then you smiled and held out a breath
I was staring at you waiting for an answer
But I received none so I just sat and said a prayer
“God, don’t wake me.”
But I guess the Lord said ‘no’
So I opened my eyes and urges a grin
But im too frustrated to do so.
So all I did is be keen.
I wiggled my toes and get off my bed
I find the sky amazing that I gazed at my window
Then I saw something familiar
Hey, it’s my baby!
I hurried outside and opened the gate
There I saw my little one
I tapped him in his shoulders
Then he said, “ yeah, I missed you.”
